After several years of teaching at the Conservatoire Cantonal du Valais I had, in 2005, the idea and the desire to develop a slightly different learning concept based on an interactive relationship with the student. We discuss the student's motivations and, together, we work to put them into practice. For example, having a musical notation software, I can make arrangements from pieces that the student has heard and wishes to play while integrating a pedagogical dimension.

As a member of the "Swiss Society for Music Pedagogy" (SSPM), I also offer the possibility to follow a course of study with exams until the Certificate of Non-Professional Studies. I organise group and orchestra courses for the most advanced students as well as one or two annual auditions.

Marinette Schwab studied at the Haute École de Musique de Genève & Neuchâtel, first in Neuchâtel where she obtained her Diplôme de Capacité Professionnelle, then in Geneva in the class of C. Romano and R. Zimansky, as well as at the Berne Conservatory with U. Lehmann.

She participated in several master classes, notably with R. Odnoposoff in Vienna, as well as in an initiation to music on ancient instruments, in the framework of a workshop organized by the Bienne Symphony Orchestra (SOB) with which she participated in numerous concerts.

She has also played in several other ensembles: OSR, OCL, Orchestra of the Avenches Opera Festival among others. Currently she is a member of the orchestra "Symphonia-Geneva". She plays regularly in recitals with her violin-piano duo and in chamber music formations.

Music teacher at the Moser School of Nyon - Geneva, she prepares students who have chosen this option for the federal maturity exams.
