I am privileged to be able to pass on what I have learned from the great masters of the violin and viola of our times, such as Maxim Vengerov, Bruno Pasquier, Danilo Rossi, and many others.

The lessons are adapted to the level and objectives of each student, and can also be done online.

Lessons can be given in English, French, Italian and Hebrew.

Born in Israel in October 1991, he began studying the violin at the age of 5 in his country.

At the age of 15 he began his viola studies in parallel with his higher studies at the Lausanne Conservatory in the class of Bruno Pasquier and Gilad Karni.

Then he won the international competition of the Little Dreams Foundation by Phil and Orianne Collins and won a scholarship throughout his studies.

In 2010, he began a Master's degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music with Prof. Avshalom Sarid and graduated in 2013. At the same time, he participates as solo viola at the Aurora Festival in Sweden.

The following year he completed his Master's degree at the Academy of Music in Lugano with Prof. Danilo Rossi, principal viola of the "Teatro alla Scala". During this time he was invited to play as principal viola at the Venice Opera "La Fenice", and also performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

In the summer of 2018 he graduated from the Menuhin Academy, and won the competition for the position of principal viola with the Camerata of Israel.

A musical ambassador and a polyglot, Dor regularly participates in educational projects and fundraising concerts organized by the UN and its specialized agencies. Recent activities include a performance in a fundraising concert for the Dare Foundation's project to build an orphanage in Cameroon, and an educational presentation of classical music and string instruments in a refugee camp in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland, followed by a concert.

Dor plays an 18th century Goffriler viola, generously donated by a private collection.

Since 2019, he has been a professor at the Conservatory of Valais.

Recently, Dor was elected as a professor at the Ecolint (Geneva International School) where he is creating a viola class. External students can also enrol and there is the possibility to join the orchestra on Saturdays, either at La Grande Boissière in Geneva or at the campus of La Châtaigneraie in Founex.
