Since childhood, I have always been interested in education and teaching the violin.
I have had brilliant teachers who have helped me to embark on a positive path and to understand the beauty of music and the violin.
I now wish to pass on my knowledge and passion. I will be teaching different techniques as well as posture, mindset, and most importantly, how to express yourself through music in order to find your own musical identity.

Born in 1996 in Lausanne into a musical family, Barnabás Stuller started playing the violin at a very young age with his parents. Throughout his childhood, he was surrounded by his parents' musical colleagues and friends, with whom he played regularly. In 2008, he was admitted to the Conservatoire de Lausanne in the class of Stefan Rusiecki. At the same time, he studied with Pavel Vernikov and Svetlana Makarova at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy, and then continued his Bachelor's degree in their classes at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne and Sion. Barnabás participates in numerous masterclasses and academies throughout Europe with teachers such as: Pavel Vernikov, Svetlana Makarova, Suzanne Gessner, Kati Sebestyén.

Since 2012 he is a member of the Stuller Quartet, which is formed by his family. His sister Jùlia Stuller on cello, his parents Yukari Shimanuki on viola and Gyula Stuller on violin. They give regular concerts and are often invited to festivals in Switzerland and abroad. In 2016, he studied in Paris at the Schola Cantorum with Patrice Fontanarosa where he obtained the Diplomas of Virtuosity and Concert with unanimity and congratulations of the juries. Since 2014 he forms a Duo with Kaori Kuroiwa and in 2019 they are laureates of the International Duo Chamber Music Competition in Italy. Barnabás regularly gives chamber music concerts at home and abroad, also with prestigious artists such as the Sine Nomine Quartet, Paul Coker, Niall Brown, István Várdai, Gerardo Vila and others.

Barnabás is passionate about music but also about violin pedagogy and in 2018 he started teaching and giving workshops. In 2021 he became a violin teacher at the Kodály Studio in Geneva.
