Bow restoration
I feel lucky I had the chance to follow a bow restoration class with amazing Peter Oxley Bow Maker, at the Aladfi’s Campus in Villefavard. It was a precious opportunity to gain insight into a very specialized form of restoration and a real plus for our workshop to be able to confront more complex repairs on your precious bows.
The importance of having a bow in perfect working condition is often underrated. Unfortunately, a lack of care not only impacts negatively your play, but it also contributes to the degradation and loss of important historical heritage.
We are happy to be able to provide this expertise and we look forward to being of good advice on any problem you incounter with your bow.
Thanks Pete and all the Campus for these great moments and see you next year ! Photo: Peter Oxley bow maker working on a violin bow frog.
